We started 30 years ago as a workroom only and have since
increased our services to include an upholstered products
department, measuring and installing services, a wholesale-to-the-
trade fabric, trim, decorative rod, and hardware showroom. Because
of the vast number of hard window products now offered, we opened
a loaner library of hard window products, sales catalogs, and sales
aids, including sales samples from two shutter lines. This loaner
library frees Designers from purchasing a variety of expensive sales
kits or having to limit their offering of products.
Our office staff includes Designer assistance professionals to help
Designers with technical assistance and design ideas. These
professionals have worked with thousands of different projects and
can provide ideas for windows and areas which present unusual
challenges.
As we have grown, the need to engineer difficult treatments for
arched windows, round or turret rooms, and 30 foot tall windows led
us to offer a “guaranteed fit” measuring service. This service allows
the Designer to use more creative ideas and treatments knowing
that All About Drapes can provide the technical assistance so the
Designer does not need to worry about the outcome. With these
technically difficult treatments, a one-man installation is no longer
possible. To meet this need, we have increased our installation staff
to several full-time installers and provide the proper equipment to
meet these challenges.
